The Review Queue

The Review Queue is where you approve, edit, or reject AI-researched items before they become listings. It's the quality control step between AI processing and marketplace publication.

How Items Get Here

Items enter the Review Queue when AI research completes successfully. If you captured 10 items this morning, they'll appear in the Review Queue as research finishes — usually within 2–5 minutes each.

What You See

For each item in the queue, you'll see:

Product Identification

The AI's best identification of the product — name, brand, model, and category. Check that this is correct. A wrong identification means everything downstream (pricing, comps, listing details) will be off.

Comparable Sales

A selection of comparable sales the AI found:

  • Sold prices (what buyers actually paid)
  • Active listings (what competitors are asking)
  • Condition and completeness of each comp
  • How recently each comp sold

This is the raw data backing the price recommendation.

Pricing Recommendation

The three pricing strategies (Aggressive, Balanced, Premium) with:

  • Suggested price for each strategy
  • Estimated days to sell
  • Conviction level

Pre-Generated Listings

Titles, descriptions, and marketplace-specific fields ready for publication.

Your Options

Approve

Accept the AI's work. The item moves to "Ready" status and can be published to marketplaces. You can still edit everything after approval — this just means you're satisfied with the research quality.

Quick Edit + Approve

Edit specific fields (title, price, condition, description) inline before approving. Use this when the AI got it 90% right and you just need to tweak a few things.

Reject

Dismiss the research results entirely. The item moves back to Draft status. You might reject if:

  • The AI identified the wrong product
  • The comps are irrelevant
  • You want to recapture with better photos

When rejecting, add a comment explaining why. This helps you remember what went wrong if you recapture the item later.

Efficiency Tips

  • Review in batches — process all items in the queue at once rather than one at a time
  • Check identification first — if the product ID is wrong, nothing else matters. Reject immediately.
  • Trust high-conviction pricing — when conviction is high and comps look right, approve quickly
  • Spend time on low-conviction items — these need your expertise the most
  • Use the web app for review — the larger screen makes it easier to compare comps and evaluate pricing
