ListForge integrates directly with marketplaces to publish listings and track sales. Here's how to connect each one.
eBay
- Go to Settings → Marketplace Integrations → eBay
- Click Connect eBay Account
- You'll be redirected to eBay's authorization page
- Sign in with your eBay seller account and grant the requested permissions
- eBay redirects you back to ListForge — you should see a "Connected" status
Permissions requested: ListForge needs permission to create and manage listings, view your sales history, and access your seller account information. It does not need access to your buying history or personal information.
Token expiry: eBay OAuth tokens expire periodically. When this happens, you'll see an "Auth Expired" warning in Settings. Click Reconnect to re-authorize — your listings and data are preserved.
Amazon
- Go to Settings → Marketplace Integrations → Amazon
- Click Connect Amazon Account
- Sign in with your Amazon Seller Central account
- Authorize the ListForge application
- Return to ListForge and verify the connection
Requirements: You need an active Amazon Seller Central account (Individual or Professional plan).
Facebook Marketplace
- Go to Settings → Marketplace Integrations → Facebook
- Click Connect Facebook Account
- Authorize through Facebook's OAuth flow
- Select which Facebook profile or page to use for listings
Facebook Marketplace has more restrictions than eBay or Amazon. Some categories may not be available, and listing formats vary by region.
Connection Status
Each marketplace connection shows a status:
| Status | Meaning | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Active | Connected and working | None needed |
| Auth Expired | Token needs renewal | Click Reconnect |
| Error | Something went wrong | Check error details, try reconnecting |
| Not Connected | Never set up | Click Connect |
Troubleshooting Connections
- "Authorization failed" — make sure you're signing in with a seller account, not a buyer-only account
- "Token expired" keeps happening — this is normal. Marketplace tokens expire for security. Just reconnect when prompted.
- Account shows "Error" — try disconnecting and reconnecting. If the error persists, check that your seller account is in good standing on the marketplace itself.
