ListForge connects directly to eBay so you can publish Listings and keep their status in sync. Here's how to connect your account.
Connect eBay
- Open Marketplaces in the sidebar, or go to
/settings/marketplaces. - Find eBay and select Connect eBay Account.
- You'll be redirected to eBay's authorization page.
- Sign in with your eBay seller account and grant the requested permissions.
- eBay redirects you back to ListForge. Your account should show as connected.
Permissions requested: ListForge needs permission to create and manage Listings, view sales history, and access the seller-account information required for publishing. It does not ask for your eBay password.
Token expiry: eBay authorization expires periodically. If ListForge asks you to reconnect, authorize the account again. Your Items, Listings, and data are preserved.
Connection Status
Your eBay connection shows one of these statuses:
| Status | Meaning | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Active | Connected and working | None needed |
| Auth Expired | Authorization needs renewal | Select Reconnect |
| Error | Something went wrong | Read the error details, then reconnect if needed |
| Not Connected | eBay has not been connected | Select Connect eBay Account |
Troubleshooting Connections
- “Authorization failed” — make sure you're signing in with an eBay seller account and complete every step on eBay's authorization page.
- “Auth Expired” — select Reconnect and authorize eBay again.
- The account shows “Error” — read the error details first. If the problem is authorization-related, reconnect. If it persists, confirm that your eBay seller account is in good standing.
Currently Supported Marketplaces
eBay is the only marketplace connection available today. Amazon, Facebook Marketplace, Poshmark, Etsy, Depop, and Mercari are coming soon. A Coming Soon marketplace cannot be connected or used for publishing yet.
