As your inventory grows, individual item management doesn't scale. ListForge's bulk operations and inventory tools help you manage hundreds or thousands of items efficiently.
Inventory View
The Inventory page shows all your items with powerful filtering:
Filters
- Status — Draft, Ready, Listed, Sold, Archived
- Needs Work — items with issues that need attention
- Marketplace — items listed on specific platforms
- Date Range — when items were created or last updated
- Search — full-text search across titles and descriptions
Sorting
Click any column header to sort by that field. Common sorts:
- Price (high to low) — find your most valuable inventory
- Date (newest first) — see recently added items
- Status — group items by lifecycle stage
Bulk Operations
Select multiple items using the checkboxes, then choose an action:
Bulk Price Edit
Change pricing across selected items:
- Set a specific price for all
- Apply a percentage increase or decrease
- Switch pricing strategy (Aggressive, Balanced, Premium)
Bulk Generate Listings
Create marketplace listings for all selected items at once. Useful when you've just connected a new marketplace and want to list your entire "Ready" inventory.
Bulk Archive
Move items you no longer want to track to Archived status. They're not deleted — you can restore them later if needed.
Inventory Tracking Fields
Each item has fields designed for inventory management:
| Field | Purpose |
|---|---|
| SKU | Your internal reference number for the item |
| Location | Where the item is physically stored (shelf, bin, room) |
| Cost Basis | What you paid for the item — used to calculate profit |
| Quantity | How many units you have |
| Tags | Custom labels for organizing (e.g., "thrift-haul-march", "electronics") |
Use consistent SKU and Location naming conventions from day one. It's much harder to retroactively organize 500 items than to organize as you go.
Import
For large existing inventories, use the Import feature:
- CSV Import — upload a spreadsheet with item details
- Marketplace Sync — pull existing listings from eBay or Amazon into ListForge as items
