Enhanced Barcode Scanning
Faster Recognition
Our barcode scanning engine has been completely rebuilt:
- 3x faster recognition in optimal conditions
- Better handling of damaged barcodes (reconstruction of missing digits)
- Support for additional barcode formats (EAN-8, UPC-E now included)
- Improved low-light performance for scanning in darker environments
New Barcode Database Coverage
We’ve expanded our product database significantly:
- 2.5 million new products added to our reference database
- Better international product coverage (European and Asian markets)
- Historical products from discontinued lines
- Improved vintage product recognition

Improved Category Suggestions
Smarter AI Classification
Our category suggestion AI now considers:
- Visual similarity to items in each category
- Text context from your photos (labels, packaging)
- Historical performance (what actually sells in each category)
- Platform-specific optimization (best category per marketplace)
Multi-Marketplace Optimization
When cross-listing to multiple platforms, our AI now:
- Suggests the optimal category per platform (eBay categories differ from Amazon)
- Maps item specifics appropriately for each marketplace
- Highlights where manual adjustment might improve visibility

New Marketplace Integrations
Mercari Integration (Beta)
We’re excited to announce Mercari integration in beta:
- List directly to Mercari from your ListForge inventory
- Sync sales and inventory automatically
- Mercari-optimized listings generated by AI
To access: Enable Mercari in your Settings > Marketplace Connections. Beta access is rolling out to Pro and Business plans first.
Improved eBay Integration
Based on feedback, we’ve enhanced our eBay connection:
- Faster listing sync (near real-time updates)
- Better item specifics mapping (auto-fill more fields)
- Improved error handling (clearer messages when issues occur)
- Support for item variations (sizes, colors, etc.)
Amazon Improvements
For Amazon sellers:
- Better ASIN matching for existing catalog products
- Improved condition mapping to Amazon’s grading system
- Enhanced pricing recommendations based on Buy Box dynamics
Mobile App Updates
iOS and Android Updates
Both mobile apps received updates this month:
